The Lock View
The big front room, and the one guests argue over. Two sash windows look straight down the garden to the river, so you can lie in bed and watch the narrowboats wait their turn at the lock. A proper super-king bed, a roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower, and window seats made for a slow morning tea.
